Made for horses?

I think this item was intended for horses instead of human beings. Me and my girlfriend both just laughed when we opened it. It is huge! Outside of it being 18 inches (which we realized was like 10 too many lol) the width makes it impossible to use comfortably or effectively. We decided to save it as a weapon in case an intruder comes into our home. :-)
